At 1:50pm on March 20, 2009, TISHAWNA said…: things have been going great at Bradley Hospital's Pediatric partial Program. The staff and children have magnificent. It has been a really eye opening experience. This is was my first full week thier i got to see how the children react to other kids going in and leaving the program. It was also very interesting knowing why some of the children were being emitted into this program because for some of them from face value you couldnt really see the whole story. As I continue my internship thier i hope to learn more communication skills with children that have limited or not so limited speech and communication skills.

Also, what would you like us to do with the interview. Just write up a synopsis or make it into a feature story? Do we have to interview two people or one?

When i turn in my interviews and final evaluation by Dec. 22, should I also include the 2 page summary about the experience? Or is that due earlier?

I just finished my story about a RIC alumni who lives in Sao Miguel Island in the Azores, he grew up at RIC basically and has fond memories. He is an author and his books are in Adams Library written in Portuguese; Mario Moura is his name. I like meeting new people and talking about their experiences, its 1 of my favorite things about writing and researching for the paper. In the next issue I should have 2 stories, one about a traveling theatre company and then the story about Mario. The winter break will be coming up soon so I'm wondering if we're going to be busier than usual. We have a christmas party I believe. Well hope you have a great Thanksgiving. talk to you later

I have 1 article in it about the RIC Winter Choral Concert. With Debate Watch over with I can't say the office is as busy now as it was before, which is kind of nice. From time to time I get to see Jenn, our design manager put the paper together. This is basically like a puzzle, which involves shrinking photos, moving them, correcting last minute mistakes, and changing the color of something. I am soon going to be meeting with my managing editor, Rob, to talk about my next story. That's all for now, take care!

Quick question for you. Do I need to have my boss, Jane Fusco, evaluate me for midterms? If so, is there a form or does she just write whatever she thinks.

Also I understand that we have a 2 page reflection paper due on Dec. 5. In addition to that, do I need to do a write up about the two interviews with my editor and boss? Or is that just for my own general knowledge?

Please just let me know. And check out the email I sent as soon as you get a chance. Deadline for stories is this Tuesday. I've been background researching the different artists you worked with.
